Numbers play a fascinating role in our lives…the moon’s basic cycle of 28 days, the earths rotation of 365 days. A week is seven days. We have 10 fingers and 10 toes. And there’s the subject of numerology of which I will only mention in passing here.
There are the lucky numbers: seven in the west, eight in the Chinese culture, and nine, the number of luck in Thailand.
The trinity and the number three is very important in the Celtic culture and Christian spirituality.
My Favorite Numbers
Some of the numbers I use personally are 17, 34, 51, 68. I learned about these numbers from Ester and Jerry Hicks in their book “The Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham.” These magical points in time allow one’s universe-connected energy to multiply every 17 seconds, increasing life force exponentially. When we focus with clarity long enough we manifest!
I have used these numbers most importantly as the number of seconds I remain in focused silence in total mediation. I especially suggest you try using the number 17 for meditation. It is very useful in helping find one’s center.
These numbers are featured on some pieces of our jewelry, such as these magical number pieces:
