The winds have calmed and the storm has passed here on the East Coast… The sailboat broke loose from its mooring and the dock broke in two. The yard was flooded 2 feet above the norm. Yet in all this there is a calm, an energy and a knowing, that at all times everything is at it is because it is–and that is perfection at its finest.

The trees howl in the wind as the few leaves left. The howling of the wind is a reminder of how the warmth in my home and the comforts I have are truly appreciated…and emphasized. The energy of the wind, the days of torrential rains, flooding and near gale force winds gave way to a peace and centeredness. Then an external calm of many magnitudes came in synch with the inner calm of my being. The “calm after the storm,” the freshness of a renewed invigorating energy and charged air were apparent… the richness in the scents and smells of Autumn are powerful and uplifting. A definite energy shift occurred. I wish to carry this power and simplicity forth on a daily basis.
I look through my website and catalogs waiting for a piece of jewelry to jump out and strike me, to synch with me, that captures the power of this moment. I find not one but two pieces that have reinforced the past several days. Minutes before I do this the sun shows itself… with its great force, shines more energy!
Allowing ourselves to be open to the real energies around us, in us and through us is a gift. Most of us must earn it. But a few are somehow born with an energy connection and a knowing since birth. For the rest of us we must work our way through it. It is our life’s journey. My most direct and learned method is that of turning off the noise. Not an easy task in the beginning, but with practice can be done at the flick of an internal “switch.” Meditation is a key for developing this method. But this is another subject.
Four Elements Harmony Silver Pendant
Back to the jewelry I choose: The first one that drew me in is the “Wisdom of the Winds” designed back in 2005 and the other is “Harmony” in the same year. Both are quite sizable pendants and seem to carry a good bit of Energy. I find wearing these on a longer chain closer to the Solar Plexus brings a better flow of Energy.
